About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare rating and plan design quotes using Milliman's underwriting models
  • Ensure all proposals are highly accurate and delivered on schedule
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary data and explain underwriting outcomes
  • Coordinate with Senior Leadership and Account Management on complex cases
  • Prepare client deliverables, including reports, letters, and presentations, primarily using MS Excel
  • Respond to client requests for advice, information, and schedules via phone and email
  • Work with major insurance carriers to collect data and necessary reports
  • Identify and provide feedback on opportunities to improve rating models and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in underwriting
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently within a team-based environment
  • Must be willing to work onsite full-time in Omaha, Nebraska
