Health Improvement & Preparedness Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional staff by assigning work, setting priorities, and supporting professional development
• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive public health promotion programs and media campaigns
• Build and maintain partnerships with local, state, and national agencies and professional organizations
• Manage contracts with service providers, including developing work plans and evaluating performance
• Identify funding opportunities and lead grant writing and application processes
• Utilize data and project management techniques to identify community health needs and guide program design
• Develop culturally appropriate programming and materials to reach disparately impacted populations
• Implement continuous quality improvement and performance management strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, business administration, political science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public health education within a public or private health agency
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience
• Ability to obtain the following clearances at own expense: PA State Police Criminal History Record Check, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Criminal History Background Check
