About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Burns Centre in collaboration with the British Red Cross and hospital management
- Monitor and support clinical care provided to burn patients, offering guidance and feedback to the medical team
- Plan and manage monthly medical donations and supplies according to the centre’s needs
- Facilitate training and capacity building for clinical staff to improve patient care and rehabilitation outcomes
- Ensure smooth communication and liaison with authorities, donors, and other stakeholders
- Participate in assessments, reporting, and monitoring activities to improve hospital operations
- Support other health-related activities in the sub-delegation and contribute to emergency response as required
Requirements
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- Degree in medicine or nursing
- Valid license/certificate to practice in Ukraine
- 3 to 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of clinical experience
- At least 2 years of humanitarian experience
- Fluent written and spoken English and Ukrainian
- Computer literacy and proven program management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in public health or health management
- Excellent connections with local health authorities or relevant interest groups
- Strong knowledge of the assigned geographic area
