Health Field Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Burns Centre in collaboration with the British Red Cross and hospital management
• Monitor and support clinical care provided to burn patients, offering guidance and feedback to the medical team
• Plan and manage monthly medical donations and supplies according to the centre’s needs
• Facilitate training and capacity building for clinical staff to improve patient care and rehabilitation outcomes
• Ensure smooth communication and liaison with authorities, donors, and other stakeholders
• Participate in assessments, reporting, and monitoring activities to improve hospital operations
• Support other health-related activities in the sub-delegation and contribute to emergency response as required

Requirements

• Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
• Degree in medicine or nursing
• Valid license/certificate to practice in Ukraine
• 3 to 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of clinical experience
• At least 2 years of humanitarian experience
• Fluent written and spoken English and Ukrainian
• Computer literacy and proven program management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification in public health or health management
• Excellent connections with local health authorities or relevant interest groups
• Strong knowledge of the assigned geographic area
