Health Economics Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical capabilities and methodological support across all project stages, from planning to completion
• Act as a support biostatistician or statistical programmer to interact with study teams and sponsors
• Support the drafting of statistical sections in protocols and perform sample size and power calculations
• Assist in developing statistical analysis plans and reviewing data management plans and specifications
• Develop statistical programs to generate listings, tables, and figures (TLFs) as outlined in analysis plans
• Perform quality control (QC) on analysis datasets and TLFs
• Provide statistical input for Clinical Study Reports and ensure adherence to quality standards

Requirements

• Master or higher degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong statistical programming skills using SAS, R, SQL, or Python
• Proficiency in fundamental statistical concepts including survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, and regression analysis
• Familiarity with healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical organizations
• Excellent scientific and business writing skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical team members
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics
• Experience with meta-analysis, mixed treatment comparison, or hierarchical analysis techniques
