Health Club Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and guests, providing a professional and warm atmosphere.
• Provide detailed information regarding club facilities, programs, and services.
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, emails, and other communications.
• Schedule appointments and manage bookings for classes and personal training sessions.
• Process membership applications, renewals, and cancellations.
• Maintain and update accurate member records in the club's database.
• Resolve member inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and courteously.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
• Monitor club access to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Enforce club policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally within a health club or fitness center.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with member management software.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient in stressful situations.
• A friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of health and fitness.
