About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage administrative tasks including check-ins, check-outs, and scheduling
- Assist patients with insurance verification, payments, and eligibility for state-funded programs
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections
- Provide patient education, counseling, and ensure informed consent for services
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized to maintain smooth patient flow
Requirements
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Strong commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to work flexibly and a willingness to learn new clinical skills
