About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, financing, and management of diverse health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, wellbeing, life, and disability.
- Partner with client service team leaders to deliver superior project management and client service.
- Support vendor procurement, implementation, and optimization activities.
- Prepare client meeting materials, agendas, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Provide benefit enrollment support, including preparing presentations and updating internal systems.
- Assist with administrative actions such as Form 5500 filings, policy checking, and monthly reporting.
- Conduct benchmarking studies, research, and value-added analyses for clients.
- Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in professional services, ideally within a benefit consulting, brokerage, or insurance underwriting/actuarial function.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality, time, and budget constraints.
- Strong analytical, creative, and integrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a State Life and Health license within 90 days of joining.
