Health & Benefits Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the design, funding, and financial analysis of employer health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, and disability.
• Develop financial analyses, outputs, and client deliverables to guide client decision-making.
• Assist with financial modeling for benefit plan designs, cost avoidance strategies, and budget projections.
• Manage the carrier procurement and negotiation process, including collecting and analyzing proposal findings.
• Support accurate claim reporting and maintain working proficiency in core financial and actuarial models.
• Coordinate with Global Delivery Centers and client service teams to ensure high-quality project management and adherence to deadlines.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency within client teams.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience managing financials for health and benefit plans (ideally in consulting, brokerage, or insurance).
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to resolve complex data inconsistencies.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint.
• University degree or equivalent relevant financial experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain a Provincial Life and Health license within 180 days of joining.
