Health & Benefits Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the design, funding, and financial analysis of employer health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, and disability.
• Develop financial analyses, outputs, and client deliverables to guide benefits strategy.
• Assist with financial modeling for benefit plan designs, cost avoidance strategies, and budget projections.
• Manage the carrier procurement and negotiation process, including collecting and analyzing proposal findings.
• Support accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to assist client decision-making.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to manage follow-up requests and renewal deliverables.
• Partner with Global Delivery Centers and client service teams to ensure high-quality project management.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience managing financials for health and benefit plans (ideally in consulting, brokerage, or insurance).
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify data inconsistencies and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• University degree or equivalent relevant financial experience.
• Ability to obtain a Provincial Life and Health license within 180 days of joining.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
