Health & Benefits Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the design, funding, and financial analysis of employer health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, and disability.
• Develop financial models for benefit plan designs, cost avoidance strategies, and budget projections.
• Assist in the carrier procurement and negotiation process by collecting and analyzing proposal findings.
• Manage claim reporting and provide accurate financial modeling to guide client decision-making.
• Coordinate with client service teams and global delivery centers to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
• Manage follow-up requests from carriers and vendors and design placement deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and increase team efficiency.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience managing financials for health and benefit plans (ideally in consulting, brokerage, or insurance).
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to resolve complex data inconsistencies.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• University degree or equivalent relevant financial experience.
• Ability to obtain a Provincial Life and Health license within 180 days of joining.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
