About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST) during project execution.
- Supervise compliance with applicable legal regulations and established safety procedures.
- Manage and control high-risk activities associated with the construction and assembly of renewable energy projects.
- Oversee the correct application of work permits, Safe Work Analysis (ATS), and operational control procedures.
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and safety findings, establishing corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform audits, inspections, and performance monitoring of contractors and subcontractors.
- Prepare H&S management reports and performance indicators (KPIs) for project leadership.
- Promote a culture of safety and prevention across all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of certified experience in Occupational Health and Safety (SST) within construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Proven experience in renewable energy projects, electrical substations, transmission lines, or power generation.
- Experience supervising high-risk activities such as work at heights, excavations, load lifting, energization, and electromechanical assembly.
- Professional degree in Industrial, Environmental, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related fields).
- Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Valid SST license and current 50-hour SG-SST course certification (or 20-hour update).
- Valid Work at Heights Coordinator certification.
- Technical knowledge of Decree 1072, Resolution 0312, RETIE, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Valid driver's license and availability for field work.
