Health and Safety Senior Associate Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage Health & Safety performance data, including statistical reporting and incident report tracking.
• Implement and coordinate global and regional Health & Safety initiatives within the Japan business unit.
• Support employee training programs, including managing mandatory training records and coordinating safety workshops.
• Conduct risk assessments, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and follow up on Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Facilitate safety committee meetings and promote a strong safety culture across the business unit.
• Assist with annual audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and address specialized risk challenges.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Japanese.
• Business-level proficiency in English for reporting to international team members.
• 1–2 years of practical experience in safety program management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of safety management systems and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and SharePoint.
• Relevant academic degree or professional certifications such as NEBOSH.
• Experience with first aid training or database management.
