Health and Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete Health and Safety audits and update documentation
• Conduct customer, BRC, and internal auditing
• Lead monthly Health and Safety meetings and devise safety briefs
• Assess COSHH and associated risks
• Act as Fire Marshall and Racking Inspector, training employees on evacuation
• Manage controlled documents and contractor permits to work
• Manage site health and safety in conjunction with the General Manager
• Implement third-party quality agreements for equipment and components
• Manage property compliance and facilities for site tenants and contractors

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and the Health & Safety at Work Act
• Proven experience in a fast-moving distribution environment
• Experience with Health & Safety audits and Quality Risk Management
• Ability to perform root cause and trend analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office
• IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications (essential)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• RoSPA qualification
• HACCP experience
