Health and Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety queries at ASOS offices
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 45001:2018 management system
• Plan and deliver the internal audit programme across office locations
• Conduct workplace, events, and fashion shoot risk assessments
• Manage health and safety aspects of contractor and supplier activities, including RAMS review
• Deliver the health and safety training programme for the organisation
• Maintain and develop emergency procedures and act as Incident Lead Controller
• Own the incident reporting and investigation process, including root cause analysis
• Drive open communication and lead the Health & Safety Steering Committee
• Collect, analyse, and report health and safety data to identify trends

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience producing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements
• Experience in fast-paced environments with high stakeholder volume
• Experience with ISO 45001:2018 certified management systems
• Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of ergonomics and reasonable adjustments
• Exposure to managing risks for shoots and events
• NEBOSH qualification (diploma preferred)
• IOSH membership
