Health and Safety Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the on-site Health & Safety team, setting priorities and driving performance across operations.
• Take full ownership of site-wide health and safety performance to ensure risks are identified, controlled, and reduced.
• Lead incident investigations, audits, and assurance activities, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Influence and challenge leaders at all levels to embed safety into operational decision-making and daily behaviors.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and its application in manufacturing or engineering.
• Proven experience leading or supervising health and safety activity within a regulated environment.
• Experience delivering risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
• Working towards or holding IOSH Chartered status.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
