About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure application of occupational health and safety laws, rules, and frameworks
- Act as a consultant and expert to assist the site management team in prevention activities
- Support the skill development of project stakeholders, including external suppliers
- Manage daily health and safety activities on construction sites, including power plants, stations, and lines
Requirements
- Must hold a CNESST Health and Safety Coordinator card
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of critical hazards (working at heights, energy sources, moving vehicles, lifting operations, etc.)
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to use Enablon software for prevention activities
- Authorized to work in Canada
