Health and Safety Advisor

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures
• Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance
• Support the development and delivery of health and safety training programs
• Monitor changes in health and safety legislation to ensure organizational compliance
• Participate in accident and incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all health and safety activities
• Provide dedicated health and safety support for various projects within the Renewables England business unit

Requirements

• Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• NEBOSH diploma or an equivalent health and safety qualification
• Full driving license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong understanding of health and safety laws and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
