Health and Benefits Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the design, funding, and financial analysis of employer health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, and disability.
• Develop financial models for benefit plan designs, cost avoidance strategies, and budget projections.
• Manage the carrier procurement and negotiation process, including collecting and analyzing proposal findings.
• Serve as a lead project manager on select projects, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Provide accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to guide client decision-making.
• Collaborate with Global Delivery Centers and client service teams to deliver high-quality project management and analytical work.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency within client teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing health and benefit plan financials, ideally within a brokerage or insurance environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to resolve complex data inconsistencies.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in both English and French (written and oral).
• Ability to obtain a Provincial Life and Health license within 180 days of joining.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent financial experience.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 CAD per year.
• Eligibility for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
