Health and Benefits Financial/Actuarial Consulting Manager

Responsibilities

• Contribute to complex analyses involving the design, financing, and measurement of employer health and group benefit programs.
• Develop financial analyses, outputs, and client deliverables across regional teams.
• Support accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to guide client decisions.
• Assist with financial modeling of benefit plan designs, cost avoidance/funding strategies, and budget projections.
• Partner with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams to ensure superior project management.
• Interface with vendors and client service teams to communicate complex analyses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional services experience, ideally in benefit consulting, brokerage, or health underwriting/actuarial functions.
• Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products and services.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting and funding concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• University degree or relevant financial experience.
• Ability to obtain a State Life and Health license within 90 days of joining.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data analytic techniques.
• Progress towards completion of a health actuarial designation or CEBS designation.
