Head Women's Tennis Coach

Responsibilities

• Recruit quality student-athletes for the women's tennis program
• Develop and conduct organized practices and training sessions
• Create a competitive schedule of contests
• Manage and maintain the sport's budget
• Adhere to all NCAA Division III and conference rules and bylaws
• Coordinate fundraising opportunities for the program
• Counsel student-athletes in a positive and professional manner
• Build rapport with athletics staff and the broader university community
• Represent the university professionally to various constituents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of coaching experience
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to qualify for university insurance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage technical aspects of the sport and use sport-specific technology
• Physical ability to actively coach, including running, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Coaching experience at the college level
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
