Head Women's Wrestling Coach

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the women's wrestling program, including recruitment, retention, and academic success of student-athletes
• Organize and conduct practice sessions and manage the scheduling of contests
• Maintain compliance with Montreat College, Appalachian Athletic Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations
• Manage financial resources, including program budgeting and scholarship maintenance
• Promote student development in spiritual, academic, character, and athletic areas
• Lead the team in community service projects and participate in college activities like orientation and registration
• Communicate facility and equipment needs to the Director of Athletics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
• Ability to support and affirm the College’s faith statement and Community Life Covenant
• Proven recruiting skills to meet roster expectations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate various administrative duties simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Successful experience in college coaching
• Demonstrated success in athletic recruiting
