Head Women's Volleyball Coach/Assistant Women's Softball Coach

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the overall women's volleyball program, including recruitment, development, and retention of student-athletes.
• Serve as the Assistant Women's Softball Coach, supporting the organization and leadership of a competitive Division II program.
• Monitor and nurture student-athletes' academic progress toward graduation and assist with post-college placement.
• Manage program logistics including budget development, scheduling matches, and coordinating equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Supervise assistant coaches and work-study students while assigning specific duties and responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with all college, NCAA, and conference rules and regulations.
• Coordinate team travel, including processing reimbursement paperwork, reserving transportation, and managing travel requests.
• Facilitate fundraising efforts and engage with donors, alumni, and the public at university events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sports or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Excel, and Word.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Three years of experience working with college-age athletes.
• Three years of experience with NCAA and CIAA policies and procedures.
• Three years of experience recruiting collegiate athletes at the NCAA level.
• Familiarity with NCAA Compliance Assistant, Front Rush, or related athletic management systems.
