Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a competitive strategy and team philosophy to promote program growth and championship contention.
• Conduct practices and training sessions to enhance technical skills, teamwork, and competitive excellence.
• Recruit high-character student-athletes who align with Lafayette’s rigorous academic and athletic profile.
• Ensure student-athletes meet high academic standards and maintain NCAA and Patriot League eligibility.
• Manage program administration, including team budgets, travel, equipment, and fundraising initiatives.
• Supervise assistant coaches and support staff while fostering a positive, development-focused team culture.
• Engage with alumni, the community, and athletic department leadership to support program growth and institutional priorities.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a primary assistant coach, associate head coach, or head coach.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree required.
• Ability to pass a PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Check.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in Division I athletics.
• Experience navigating NCAA and Patriot League compliance regulations.
• Strong ability to build professional relationships with diverse student-athletes and staff.
