Head Women’s Golf Coaching Instructor

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and administer the Women’s Golf program in compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and institutional regulations
• Lead all elements of practices and matches, including one-on-one athlete development and match day responsibilities
• Develop and execute recruitment plans to attract prospective student-athletes
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress to ensure compliance with university and NCAA standards
• Supervise assistant coaches and coordinate team tryouts and selection
• Manage administrative tasks including travel arrangements, equipment purchases, and budget accountability
• Collaborate with strength and conditioning staff to implement targeted training programs
• Foster positive community outreach, fundraising, and alumni engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Previous collegiate coaching experience or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Current CPR and AED certifications
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituencies and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to motivate students and provide positive leadership
• Experience teaching fundamentals and techniques for competitive golf teams
• Prior participation in golf at the high school, collegiate, or professional level
• Proven track record of effective organizational and instructional planning
