Head Women’s Flag Football Coach/Coordinator of Summer Camps

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of an elite-level NCAA Division II women's flag football program, including recruiting, athlete development, and game preparation.
• Oversee day-to-day operations such as practice schedules, off-season programs, and in-season competition.
• Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and personal growth.
• Coordinate and direct athletic department summer camps, including single-day ID camps and week-long sessions.
• Collaborate with campus departments such as marketing, dining, and athletic training to ensure high-quality camp experiences.
• Manage program budgets and coordinate travel for away games.
• Supervise graduate assistant coaches, student assistants, and managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous coaching or playing experience at the high school or college level.
• Competency with Microsoft Office applications and social media marketing platforms.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with student-athletes, families, and faculty.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including frequent evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience using Slate or other CRM software.
• Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
