About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the women’s flag football program, including recruitment, retention, and roster management.
- Organize and lead practices, competitions, and individualized training programs for student-athletes.
- Recruit, hire, and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff.
- Manage administrative duties such as game schedules, budget management, travel arrangements, and equipment procurement.
- Ensure compliance with KCAC and NAIA guidelines and maintain all necessary eligibility documentation.
- Teach and demonstrate techniques, tactics, and strategies to help athletes reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with the Sports Information Director on media needs and work across academic departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of high school head coaching experience.
- Active First Aid/CPR certification (must be obtained within 60 days of employment).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Experience as a women’s flag football head coach or player.
- Collegiate-level assistant coaching experience.
- Experience working within NAIA programs.
