Head Women's Field Hockey Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and build a positive team culture committed to student-athlete welfare, academic excellence, and competitive success
• Organize and execute practices, training programs, and skill development sessions
• Schedule all traditional and non-traditional competitions and practices
• Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes in consultation with the Director of Athletics
• Support student-athletes regarding academic performance, planning, and success
• Manage the program budget, including equipment purchases, travel, and recruiting expenses
• Hire, train, and mentor assistant coaches, student-assistants, and student managers
• Ensure strict adherence to NCAA, Landmark Conference, and Juniata College Athletics rules and regulations
• Participate in Athletics Department administration, including mandatory activities, committees, and fundraising events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules, regulations, and Division III philosophy
• Valid driver’s license (clear of major violations)
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Three to five years of collegiate coaching and/or playing experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead, strategize, and manage a competitive athletic program
