Head Track and Field Coach

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the track and field team within KCAC and NAIA guidelines
• Identify, evaluate, recruit, and retain a roster of eligible student-athletes
• Organize practices, competitions, and individualized training programs
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate assistant coaches and student staff
• Manage administrative duties including budgets, scholarships, travel, and equipment
• Teach and demonstrate techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve athlete performance
• Maintain NAIA eligibility documentation and ensure compliance with all sport guidelines
• Collaborate with the Sports Information Director on media and promotional needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• High School head coaching experience
• Active First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Collegiate coaching or assistant collegiate coaching experience
• Experience working within NAIA programs
