Head Stunt Coach and Assistant Sideline Cheerleading Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of a competitive STUNT program, including recruiting, practice planning, and game execution
• Mentor and develop varsity athletes both on and off the mats, fostering academic and physical well-being
• Assist the Director of Spirit in overseeing and developing the Sideline Cheer program and game day entertainment
• Manage team budgets, fundraising efforts, and equipment procurement in line with University policies
• Coordinate facility preparation, scheduling, and day-to-day care of practice and competition venues
• Adhere to all NCAA regulations and maintain compliance standards

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 5-10 years of demonstrated successful coaching experience
• Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive for University business
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and extensive travel for competition and recruiting

Preferred Qualifications

• College, All-Star, or university-level coaching experience
• Extensive knowledge of Stunt athletics and understanding of NCAA compliance rules
• Proven ability to recruit and retain student-athletes
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in a university setting
• Strong ability to build relationships with staff, faculty, alumni, and parents
