Responsibilities

• Oversee the stability and performance of trading platforms including OMS, RMS, Client Onboarding, and Back-office suites.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key vendors such as Omnesys, Financial Technologies, Greeksoft, and TrackWizz.
• Manage SLAs for uptime, patch management, and exchange-mandated updates.
• Establish and monitor daily "Run the Bank" checklists for pre-market, intraday, and post-market processing.
• Lead incident management for technical outages or trade-flow disruptions.
• Implement change management processes to ensure updates do not disrupt market hours.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and InfoSec teams regarding low-latency connectivity and data protection.
• Lead technical audits conducted by SEBI, NSE, BSE, and MCX.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data flow for regulatory filings and reporting.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of experience in Capital Markets technology.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within an Indian brokerage.
• Expertise in managing Institutional Equities (CTCL, FIX protocol, DMA) and Retail/HNI Broking.
• Familiarity with the Indian vendor landscape and API integrations.
• Experience scaling systems for high concurrent user volumes.
• Strong understanding of trading workflows (Order-to-Cash).
• Knowledge of BCP/DR drills specific to exchange requirements.
• Ability to make executive decisions during high-pressure system outage scenarios.
