Head of Workplace Strategy & Operations

Responsibilities

• Own global real estate and workplace strategy, including site selection, lease negotiations, and build-outs
• Create collaborative, wellness-focused office spaces that reflect the Vercel brand and aesthetic
• Manage day-to-day facilities operations, physical security programs, and Executive Protection
• Develop health, safety, and compliance programs
• Manage the workplace budget and global vendor ecosystem
• Partner with senior leadership, People, IT, and Design teams to align physical space with business goals

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in Facilities, Workplace Experience, Security, or Real Estate leadership
• Proven track record scaling operations in high-tech environments
• Experience establishing physical security programs and Executive Protection
• Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport with senior leadership and drive alignment on long-term strategy
• Strong change management skills during growth phases

Preferred Qualifications

• FMP® (Facility Management Professional)
• SFP® (Sustainability Facility Professional)
• LEED Accreditation
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP)
• OSHA or local safety compliance training
