About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and lead the central work preparation department for large-scale bridge construction projects exceeding €85 million
- Manage work preparation during both the bidding and execution phases
- Create and optimize construction sequences, scheduling, and logistics concepts
- Develop takt planning, innovative construction methods, and special technical proposals
- Coordinate interfaces between estimation, planning, and operational units
- Perform schedule controlling and update project and contract timelines
- Plan site facilities, resource allocation, and equipment deployment
- Conduct quantity surveying and volume determination
- Support bidding strategies through technical expertise
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in work preparation, construction management, or bidding, ideally in bridge or structural engineering
- Proficiency with scheduling tools and ideally calculation software such as ARRIBA or RIB I TWO
- Knowledge of MS-Project, Powerprojekt, and CAD software
- Digital mindset with an interest in modern planning methods
- Strong leadership competence and the ability to build and develop a team
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a team-oriented approach
