About the Company

Stand is building a new class of global property protection using advanced physics and AI to model catastrophic risk at the asset level. We automate underwriting and mitigation to redefine homeowners insurance for climate-exposed regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch new homeowners, condo, and dwelling fire products in catastrophe-exposed markets
• Partner with Actuarial, Underwriting, and Distribution teams to design pricing and exposure management strategies
• Monitor post-implementation portfolio performance to evaluate business results
• Gather market intelligence through competitor filings and distribution partner feedback
• Lead state regulatory strategy, including rate, rule, and form filings
• Resolve complex cross-functional business challenges through data-driven analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management or product development experience, ideally in P&C insurance
• 3+ years of Homeowners insurance experience
• Ability to use performance data to drive product and underwriting decisions
• Experience working cross-functionally with actuarial, underwriting, and engineering teams
• Strong competency with Microsoft Excel
• Competency with geospatial mapping tools (ArcGIS or QGIS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Wildfire-specific underwriting and pricing experience
• Experience with E&S markets, high-volatility perils, or property-catastrophe products
• Experience with multi-state insurance product builds and launches
• Familiarity with third-party data integrations (hazard scores, geospatial data, inspections)
• SQL or other data querying language proficiency
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Omni, Looker, or PowerBI
