Head of Treasury Operations, EMEA

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA Treasury Operations function, ensuring daily activities are executed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements and control standards.
• Own the regional operating model, including team structure, capacity planning, and operational resilience.
• Establish and enhance the intraday liquidity operating model, improving visibility and control over cash usage.
• Oversee junior team responsibilities across bank portals, Treasury systems, payments, reconciliations, and CASS client money processes.
• Maintain the internal control framework, including SOX control execution, internal audit coordination, and incident reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology to deliver process automation and system enhancement initiatives.
• Manage operational incident root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Significant Treasury Operations experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• Expertise in intraday liquidity management, including cash flow forecasting and threshold monitoring.
• In-depth knowledge of cash management, payments, and bank account administration.
• Strong understanding of Nostro, broker, exchange, securities, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience overseeing CASS client money reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in maintaining internal control frameworks, including SOX controls and audit readiness.
• Understanding of FX, securities settlements, and SWIFT/payment workflows.
