Head of Trade Marketing

Responsibilities

• Translate annual business and brand plans into executable trade marketing strategies and channel plans
• Lead and mentor regional trade marketing managers to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Develop and drive high-quality implementation of BTL programming and consumer activations
• Leverage market data and competitive intelligence to refine activation plans and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to design and execute promotional campaigns that deliver commercial goals
• Manage the national trade marketing budget to ensure cost-effective implementation and high ROI
• Enhance brand visibility through effective in-store promotions, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and external agency partners

Requirements

• Extensive trade marketing experience within the FMCG industry
• Proven people management experience is required
• Deep expertise in BTL programming, activation, and executing large-scale consumer activations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Readiness to travel regionally (approximately 8 to 10 days per month in the market)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales
• Experience working with super-premium brands
