About the Company

WorkForge is a growing organization focused on training and developing frontline workers in the food manufacturing industry. Our solution serves frontline workers, operators, maintenance technicians, and sanitation teams at food production facilities across the country, delivering compliance-driven and skills-based training through a purpose-built learning management system (LMS).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology strategy for the learning management platform
• Own the Product Requirements Document (PRD) and translate customer feedback into technical specs
• Architect a scalable SaaS platform supporting multi-tenancy, SSO/SAML, and API integrations
• Manage third-party development agencies, design firms, and contract engineers
• Implement tools and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate content creation
• Establish infrastructure, hosting, deployment pipelines, and security protocols
• Advise leadership on technology investments and build-vs-buy tradeoffs

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering and technology leadership
• Proven experience standing up a SaaS platform from early stage to production
• Experience managing third-party development and design agencies
• Strong understanding of product management (PRDs, roadmaps, stakeholder management)
• Expertise in enterprise SaaS (multi-tenancy, SSO, APIs, compliance)
• Strong UI/UX sensibility for web and mobile applications
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience building LMS or EdTech platforms
• Familiarity with Ed-tech standards like LTI, xAPI, or SCORM
• Experience with mobile-first applications for industrial environments
• Background in transitioning from white-label to proprietary technology stacks
