Head of Technology Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Lead the newly created Technology Risk Management function, providing strategic guidance on risk mitigation, escalation, and business resilience.
• Chair the Technology Governance & Risk Management SteerCo to ensure visibility into potential and accepted risks.
• Direct Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities, including vendor assessments, ongoing monitoring, and remediation.
• Own and govern the IT Escalation Management Process, serving as the primary point for technology risk events and deviations.
• Oversee IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure operational resilience across all divisions.
• Establish KPIs, KRIs, and management reporting to proactively manage and communicate technology risk to executive leadership.
• Partner with Legal and Procurement teams to manage third-party security baselines and contract addendums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in technology risk management and leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in IT risk frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, and PCI-DSS.
• Extensive experience in Third-Party Vendor Management and audit management tools.
• Strong background in IT business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and incident response.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in large, complex, multi-divisional global environments.
• Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to present complex risk concepts to executive audiences.
