Head of Tax for Airbus Helicopter

Responsibilities

• Lead the global tax strategy for the division, managing €150m in income tax and €1.5bn in VAT.
• Negotiate and structure complex tax frameworks for multi-billion euro customer offers, M&A deals, and internal restructurings.
• Implement and supervise a compliant Transfer Pricing strategy managing international financial flows of €3bn annually.
• Direct financial closing operations in coordination with Statutory Auditors to manage the Effective Tax Rate and strategic KPIs.
• Manage and develop a specialized team of 9 direct reports and 4 indirect reports.
• Act as a business partner to the Group, defending divisional interests before worldwide Tax Authorities.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Graduate + 6 years) specializing in Law or Tax.
• Extensive professional experience in international corporate tax strategy and complex cross-border contract structuring.
• Proven expertise in transfer pricing and managing international financial flows.
• Demonstrated ability to make strategic, long-term decisions in highly complex environments.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with experience influencing executive decision-makers (CEO/CFO).
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a strong asset.
