Head of Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership for the entire supply chain organization, including capacity planning.
• Translate local business strategy into a long-term supply chain roadmap and set qualitative and quantitative targets.
• Ensure the achievement of key supply chain goals such as productivity, efficiency, OTIF, DIO, and OTD.
• Identify and implement optimization potential across the entire value chain regarding costs, productivity, and inventory.
• Develop and manage a robust KPI structure linked with financial controlling.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes and manage cross-functional interfaces.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture (CIP) with a focus on value stream optimization.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal and external audits (e.g., QMS, EMS).

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain functions.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience, ideally managing other leaders.
• Proven experience in managing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end processes.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, takt model concepts, and pull systems.
• Proficiency in SAP (MM, PP, SD, and WM) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to work.
• Ideally, experience in the medical technology industry and knowledge of the MDSAP environment.
