About the Company

Foundry Robotics is building an AI-native robotics manufacturing company focused on deploying advanced assembly and production capability for leading robotics companies and national-security-critical hardware. We aim to rebuild the American manufacturing industry as an AI-first, assembly-focused, dual-use contract manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Define the procurement and supply chain strategy, operating model, processes, and KPIs
• Run sourcing and supplier management across mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical commodities
• Deploy AI across the function to optimize sourcing, forecasting, and spend analysis
• Partner with engineering through NPI to ensure supply, cost, and manufacturability are designed in
• Stand up the supply chain function inside the ERP, including item master, BOMs, and supplier workflows
• Hire, train, and lead a team of buyers and Supplier Industrialization Engineers (SIEs)
• Own core metrics such as landed cost, supplier quality, on-time delivery, and lead time
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, engineering, and logistics

Requirements

• 10+ years in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or supplier engineering with leadership experience
• Proven track record of building or scaling functions in high-bar hardware environments (automotive, aerospace, drones, or robotics)
• Technical fluency in reading drawings and understanding manufacturing processes like CNC, sheet metal, and PCBA
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data discipline
• Ability to use AI as a force multiplier in workflows
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Experience taking products from NPI to volume production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selecting and rolling out an ERP system
• Background blending supplier industrialization or quality engineering with commercial sourcing
• Familiarity with lean, 5S, Kanban, Six Sigma, or APICS
• Experience scaling from low-rate to high-volume production
