Head of Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Own the entire supply chain organization including buyers, inventory, logistics, and forward deployed manufacturing engineers
• Qualify and onboard suppliers across turbomachinery, mechanical systems, and structures
• Negotiate and manage supplier relationships from scope and quote through production and recovery
• Structure contracts with incentives for on-time delivery, quality, and cost reduction
• Drive make vs. buy decisions using supplier data and cost analysis
• Evaluate geographic expansion for capability and cost advantages
• Deploy manufacturing engineers to critical suppliers and set supplier performance standards
• Build program infrastructure for visibility into supply chain health, risk, and escalation
• Collaborate with Build Engineering to align design with manufacturability

Requirements

• Engineering background with experience designing or building physical products
• Proven track record of managing and pushing suppliers to meet difficult requirements
• Experience building and scaling teams in high-pressure environments
• Ability to work onsite or travel to supplier locations frequently
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)
