Head of Strategic Planning

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align business plans with operational capability and long-term strategic objectives
• Develop demand, capacity, and resource planning strategies to support business growth and improve forecasting accuracy
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to optimize planning processes and drive informed decision-making
• Develop and maintain capacity models to ensure the business can meet current and future customer demand
• Monitor and report key planning and operational performance metrics to identify efficiency opportunities
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing strategic planning team focused on operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in S&OP, strategic planning, supply chain, or operations management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with forecasting and capacity planning models
• Proficiency in using SAP and other planning systems to support strategic decision-making
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for presenting recommendations to senior leadership
