Head of Sterile Central

Responsibilities

• Daily planning, coordination, and management of the Sterile Central operations
• Personnel management of 14 sterile assistants, 5 porters, and 1 coordinator
• Ensuring high quality, standardized workflows, and compliance with instructions and documentation
• Implementation and follow-up on improvement initiatives and development projects
• Close collaboration with clinical departments, operating sections, and other service functions
• Participation in the Logistics Service leadership team and professional sparring with the Odense Sterile Central

Requirements

• 3-5 years of successful leadership experience
• Experience leading a team of approximately 10-15 employees
• Experience from an operational environment where quality, structure, and procedures are critical (e.g., production, supply chain, food, lab, or medico)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify operational challenges
• Ability to maintain calm and prioritize in high-pressure situations
• Structured and systematic approach to work with respect for documentation and standards
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to build trust within a team
