Head of Spares & Outbound Logistics

Responsibilities

• Lead the Spares & Outbound Logistics team both technically and disciplinarily, ensuring sustainable performance through targeted development and resource planning
• Take responsibility for achieving goals within the Spares & Outbound Logistics department and implement strategic objectives in coordination with senior management
• Control, monitor, and optimize processes holistically, driving continuous improvement in alignment with department leadership
• Identify operational bottlenecks early, analyze root causes, and independently initiate appropriate measures in coordination with relevant interfaces
• Support and actively participate in the implementation of cross-departmental projects

Requirements

• Completed technical or logistics training, supplemented by advanced qualification such as Meister or Techniker
• Extensive multi-year professional experience in logistics and shipping
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to take sovereign responsibility and make decisive actions
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office, along with a strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Strong analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and excellent communication and teamwork skills
