Head of Spare Parts & Logistics

Responsibilities

• Lead the spare parts, repairs/returns, and logistics teams to ensure world-class customer service and operational efficiency.
• Serve as a customer advocate to minimize escalations and ensure internal and external needs are met promptly.
• Continuously review and improve standard operating procedures and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor spare parts inventory to minimize dead stock while ensuring high availability for the market.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to track customer satisfaction and departmental performance.
• Manage direct reports through regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with global and North American TRUMPF organizations to improve operations and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 5 years of experience in a customer-centric role involving scheduling and coordination.
• Strong management and leadership skills with a proven ability to build teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid Driver’s License and eligibility for a passport for occasional international travel (<20%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP.
