Head of Sourcing - Indirect Spend

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies across major indirect spend areas, including IT, Software, Contingent Workforce, and Professional Services
• Lead complex IT sourcing initiatives and critical supplier negotiations to drive measurable value
• Shift the sourcing model from reactive procurement to a proactive, category-led approach that engages business leaders upstream
• Build and lead a team of category leaders to improve speed, accountability, and capability
• Establish preferred supplier models, structured commercial frameworks, and standardized governance processes
• Drive supplier consolidation and strategic partnerships to reduce fragmentation and optimize spend

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience developing and executing category strategies
• Proven experience leading enterprise IT sourcing and services-based category management
• Experience managing $1M+ CAPEX investments
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracting practices, including license rights and intellectual property
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive transformation in complex, matrixed organizations
• Superior relationship management and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPM or CPSM certification
