Head of Software Product Management

Responsibilities

• Lead the software product management team through the full product life cycle, from conception and development to launch and commercialization.
• Craft and execute roadmaps for firmware, desktop software, IoT, and industry-specific workflows.
• Impact decision-making across the company, collaborating with leaders in hardware, materials, and engineering.
• Conduct user research and competitive analysis to anticipate market needs and identify growth opportunities.
• Mentor and develop a team of product managers and prioritize hiring top talent.
• Navigate ambiguity to build innovative products and establish clear strategic directions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a product management role.
• Previous experience leading a team with 5+ direct reports.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive processes forward with a bias for action.
• Strong ability to enable teams to perform at their highest level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science or embedded engineering.
• Experience scaling teams and leading high-performing groups.
• Experience starting a company or a new product from scratch.
• Experience working within the B2B tech space.
