Head of Security Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and overtime management for 24/7 distributed operations
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports across multiple sites, ensuring high accountability
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budget compliance, billing, and contract profitability
• Implement and uphold SOPs, quality control processes, and performance expectations
• Drive client retention and serve as the executive-level relationship owner for key accounts
• Support business development through bid presentations and new account proposals
• Coordinate cross-functionally with HR and Finance to support operational success

Requirements

• Proven success leading large, multi-site security operations with direct P&L accountability
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities regarding budgets, billing, and labor productivity
• Experience maintaining consistent operational standards across multiple locations or regions
• Working knowledge of security industry regulations and compliance standards
• Executive-level leadership experience with a history of building high-performing teams
• Strong client relationship management skills and a record of successful retention
• Background with a regional or national security services provider

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three years managing teams of 50 or more
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field
• Experience leading a division through significant growth or organizational change

Benefits

• Base salary: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
