Head of Security

Responsibilities

• DRI the end-to-end security program, including application security, cloud infrastructure, IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Scale security programs by leading enterprise security reviews with top-tier RIAs, broker-dealers, and global bank security teams.
• Own compliance and regulatory posture, managing SOC 2 audits and partnering with Legal and Compliance to meet institutional standards.
• Lead incident response efforts, managing communication to clients and conducting thorough postmortems.

Requirements

• Deep technical skills in modern cloud architectures, specifically AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience running security programs within fintech, trading firms, or financial infrastructure companies.
• Ability to lead complex enterprise security reviews and hold technical conversations with senior client security organizations.
• A builder mentality with the ability to establish a security function from the ground up (0-to-1).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a broker-dealer, market maker, fund administrator, or core fintech infrastructure provider.
• Experience acting as the lead or co-lead for SOC 2 Type 2 audits.
• Strong background in security engineering, including CSPM, IAM, AppSec, or detection engineering.
