Head of Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and scale Suno’s security strategy across applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI systems
• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Lead security programs within Cloud Security, Identity Access Management, Security Operations, and Product Security
• Provide technical leadership for security products from conception through operation
• Nurture a high-performance engineering team focused on impact, ownership, and high engineering standards
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Legal, and Product teams to ensure security is a core consideration in all decisions
• Maintain knowledge of emerging security technologies and advances in agentic AI

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience leading security engineering and operations departments
• 5+ years of experience securing AWS environments
• Proven track record of building and leading mission-critical teams
• Domain expertise in two or more specializations (e.g., Product Security, Cloud Security, SecOps, EIAM, or Cryptography)
• Experience navigating complex global regulatory environments and consumer ecosystems
• Strong technical depth and willingness to dive into technical details
